DJ Motherf*ckin Zulu! Rockin the house since 1982! Genres: Soulful/Deep House, Ambient/Chill Out, Breakbeats, ;Dubstep, Drum and Bass, Old School, Hip Hop and Mash Ups! At age 14, while still in junior high/middle school ;on a US Military Base on the small island of Okinawa, Japan, DJ Zulu began his affair with music and spinning. What followed is a career performing all over the globe for a variety of clubs and special events. He has been spinning records off and on since 1980. In 1982, while living in New York and DJing events and dances for teenagers, he formed Darrenteed Productions. By 1983, DJ Zulu relocated with is parents back to Japan and began performing as DJ Doc Nice with regular gigs on Yokota Air Base, Japan and in the Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Roppongi districts of Tokyo. Between 1983 and 1995, DJ Zulu spun in clubs world wide ranging from Japan and Korea to Germany to various locations throughout the states. He semi retired in 1995 and in 1998, he returned to ;the ones and twos;and started promoting large and small scale events in Atlanta and the San Francisco Bay Area. While DJ Zulu's favorite music is House Music, he is also know for his mash up styles and blends including rock and eighties music. DJ Zulu was the Program Director and Mix DJ for the Big BOOGIE Internet Radio Station from 2002-2009. In 2007, DJ Zulu added Video DJing to his unique style of mixing adding videos (including video mash ups) to his shows.

Some highlight appearances in DJ Zulu's career include DJ and MC for Fox Reality Network Wrap Parties at Red Rock Mansion in Las Vegas as well as Viacom/VH1 T.V. Series Celebrity Fit Club and MC for Gallery Nightclub in New York City during Fashion Week 2005. Today, DJ Zulu currently DJ's, hosts and promotes events all over including Honolulu, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta (and the entire Southeast), Las Vegas, Seattle and could coming to a town near you!
